What is ¡®DynamoKidz Worship¡¯?
Excitement, Joy and Fullness of Worship. Living Worship with all
the senses for the N-generation. This English program consists of monthly
worship booklets, audio CDs, and CD-roms that help churches have a dynamic
N-generation worship service. It incorporates traditional elements of worship
such as praise, prayer, sermons, with non-traditional elements such as chants,
games, skits, stories and object lessons, to effectively reach out to the N-
generation who are growing up in a media-centered world. Our hope is for a fresh
spiritual awakening and revival of children¡¯s worship services. The children
will be excited about going to church and leave each service having had lots of
fun. But most importantly they will have had their faith strengthened and their
lives transformed.

Highlights of ¡®DynamoKidz Worship¡¯
Children Are Active
Participants
There are many moments where the children can
participate. This encourages the children to worship God
actively.
Lives Are Transformed
Dynamokidz Worship gets the attention of the children and
keeps them focused so that their lives can be transformed into the likeness of
Jesus Christ.
Effective Through
Repetition
Although Dynamokidz Worship consists of many components,
the theme is the same each month. This theme is reinforced by the use of memory
verse chants, songs, dramas, object lessons, and
stories.
Based on the Bible
Each theme and lessons are based on the Bible- children
are encouraged to memorize scripture, act out scripture, and apply
scripture.
Utilizes Positive
Reinforcement
Dynamokidz Worship is a program that praises children in
the good points that they have and tries to fix the points that are not so good
through gentle teaching and positive reinforcement.
Builds Up Adult Leaders
Dynamokidz Worship is a program not only dedicated to
kids but also for adult leaders. The leaders can discover their gifts and
talents as they work together as a team to make the service run
smoothly.

Benefits of DynamoKidz Worship

alive.
New Monthly Teaching
Materials
Each month¡¯s lessons are focused around a central theme
that changes every month.
Original Scripture Chants and the Theme-related Song with
Dance
Each month¡¯s worship booklet is accompanied by a CD
containing the chants and demonstrations of the song and
dance.

Preparing for
Worship
As all preparations are completed for
the day¡¯s service (game set-up, powerpoint tests, props for drama, etc.), the
children are led into the worship with the Opening Song being played or sung.
The children can be separated boys and girls on different sides of the room to
make team management easier.
Pre-Game or Opening
Praise
As the children gather and take their
seats, a short ice-breaker game can be played or one or two opening praises can
be sung.
Countdown
The MC will start the worship service
with a countdown.
DynaDude
A teacher comes out dressed in creative
attire (i.e. superhero, detective, animal costume) and give clues to what the
day¡¯s lesson is about.
Rules
The pastor or teacher can go over the 3
basic rules of DynamoKidz
Worship either by reading them aloud or
putting them on powerpoint and having the children read it aloud
together:
1) Be joyful and have
fun.
2) Listen to the
teachers.
3) Be silent when the whistle
blows.
Opening
Prayer
The whistle can be blown as a teacher or
child (previously determined) prays for the
service.
Memory Verse
Chant
This is the time for children to
memorize a verse that is related to the message. They are able to remember the
verses for a longer period of time by incorporating rhythm and
beat.
Game
Time
Children play an interactive and fun
game that will lead into that day¡¯s message.
Praise
Time
Two or three songs are chosen, in
addition to the new theme-related song introduced every month, for a time of
praise and worship. (The next parts of DynamoKidz Worship require children to be
active listeners. Children need to remain quiet and focused as the message
is
given through different
mediums.)
Suggestion for keeping children
quiet:
Balloons: Separate and seat the students in groups. Assign a different color
balloon for each group and hang the balloons on a banner in front of the stage
(or where visible). Pop the balloons of noisy groups. A group with the most
remaining balloons will become the winning class.
Happy Faces: Teachers can have a few smiling faces (cut out from oak tag) that
they give out to children who are being good listeners. At the end of service,
children can trade in their smiles for a small piece of candy or small
prize.
Explain the rules for the Silent Time
and then blow the whistle to mark the beginning of Silent Time. (* Silent Time activities)
The Bible text is shared through a skit
performed by teachers and/or older students. The skit can be rehearsed prior to
the service and performed that day. If rehearsal time is limited, a narrator can
be chosen to read the parts while teachers and/or students can come up to play a
specific role in the story.
There is no pressure to memorize lines
when the narrator reads the story but having the skits rehearsed would make the
best impact. A real-life application of the message is explained through a
scientific experiment or observation. The main goal is to trigger the children¡¯s
curiosity and motivate them to voluntarily take part in
learning.
The message is reinforced through
storytelling with visual illustrationson powerpoint or OHP. Some stories are
fictional while others tell about real-life people or events that relate to the
message.
Sermon and Closing
Prayer
The pastor or teacher reiterates the
main ideas through a brief sermon that
helps the students to apply the lesson
into their daily lives and to respond to the
message through
prayer.
Offering &
Announcements
New friends can be introduced at this
time.
The Lord¡¯s
Prayer
Close the worship service by reciting or
singing the Lord¡¯s Prayer.
